HVAC codes: B11E5-12 Left HVAC damper position sensor – circuit short to battery – not current DTC. B11E5-14 Left HVAC damper position sensor – circuit short to ground or open – not current DTC. Adjusted temperature from hot to cold, adjusted left to hot, right to cold and visa-versa – everything works the way it should. Cleared codes and took for a road test while adjusting the temperature. Temp adjusted and no codes set. Performed key on engine off self test, no codes set. Suspect intermittent short in left side temperature blend door actuator.

Engine/Transmission codes: P0706 Transmission range sensor A circuit range/performance. P0707 Transmission range sensor A circuit low. P1702 Transmission range sensor circuit intermittent. U0422 Invalid date received from BCM. – All not current DTCs. Parking aid module codes: U0294-87 Lost comm with powertrain control monitor module – missing message – not current DTC – warning lamp on. HVAC codes: B11F0-14 Air intake damper position sensor – circuit short to ground or open – current DTC. On road test, monitored range sensor, when initially put in drive it will say "Auto1" put then with indicate "Man1" and automatically shift through the gears. Transmission fluid is black. Battery tested bad, charged battery, tested bad again. Alternator is charging at 13.87 volts. Took on a 20 mile road test, felt the issue. on the scan tool the range sensor frequency and duty cycle fell to 0 from 127 and 59 respectively. Decided to address the BCM communication code because of the issues we had with the last Ford. Checked connections and fuse #31. Took for another road test and didn't experience trans issue and no codes returned.
Engine oil leak, drip on bottom of oil pan, possible oil pan gasket, need to clean and run to verify. It's not the rear main seal, checked when transmission was removed.
