- Engine codes: P0497 Evaporative emissions system low purge flow detected. P145C Evap emissions system purge flow malfunction. Tested purge valve, measured ohms – ok, cycled it with power – works. Ran evap test with scan tool – passed. May have been a bad connection at purge valve and it accidentally got fixed when unplugged to measure ohms.
- Checked both left and right side turn signals and they both work, left and right, front and back.
- Brake fluid is dark – we've never done it. Power steering fluid is dark – we'Ve never done it. Power steering pump is damp. Serpentine belt looks old and dry. Engine oil is about 1/2-3/4 qt low. Lower control arms, front bushings cracked and split, about half way through, not completely broken. Oil accumulating underneath, may be coming from seeping power steering pump.
